Allan Stanford


Allan Stanford is a Licensed Associate Counselor (AR# A1710299), a Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AR# F1710013), and a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate. He earned his Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy with an emphasis on Clinical Mental Health from John Brown University. Allan worked for 5 years in school based mental health before entering private practice and co-founding Little Rock Counseling.

Allan offers 50-minute therapy sessions as well as retreat intensives focused on couples experiencing conflict, addiction, and recovering from affairs - adult individuals struggling with addiction, anxiety, depression, and personal crisis - and parents struggling with distressed relationships with their teens. As a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist Candidate, Allan continues to expand his training and expertise in serving individuals and families impacted by sexual addiction. Allan lives in Central Arkansas with his wife of 12 years and their 5 children. His interests outside of family and therapy would include reading, cycling, SCUBA diving, and traveling if he didn't have so many kids. He has worked as a therapist, case manager, database developer, waiter, fry boy, and dry-clean bagger.
