Lisa is a Licensed Professional Counselor (P1204041). She received her Master of Education degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Louisville and her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Indiana Wesleyan University. She has worked in community mental health centers and other agency environments before her current work in private practice.
Lisa values supporting others through their healing process. She primarily works with adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety, depression, or distress associated with trauma or accumulated life events. She is pursuing Somatic Experiencing training, a three year program based on the work of Dr. Peter Levine. She completed a 200 hour yoga teacher training program in 2016.
Lisa enjoys learning and knowing how things work. She enjoys reading and listening to audiobooks, cooking (especially baking), yoga practice, and spending time outside on paved or dirt trails. She is working with her goldendoodle, Charlie, an aspiring therapy dog.
