Tracie Wells

LPC, EMDR II, SEP in Training, Viniyoga Teacher

Tracie is a Licensed Professional Counselor (AR#P1608120). She graduated with her Master’s of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy in 2012. Since graduating, Tracie worked in community mental health for 5 years and then entered private practice in 2017. Tracie formerly worked in the public school system as a special education teacher.

Her practice is focused on holistic healing of the mind and body and is informed by the latest developments in neuroscience and biology as well as traditional healing practices such as yoga, meditation and Tai Chi. She works with individuals, couples and families dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and addiction issues. Tracie is currently in advanced level training in Somatic Experiencing, a specialized training program for trauma healing based on the work of Dr. Peter Levine. She is also trained at the 300 hour level in Viniyoga. Her teacher Gary Kraftsow is an internationally recognized expert in the therapeutic application of traditional yoga practices.

Tracie works to maintain her own daily yoga and meditation practice as a foundation of self-care that supports her work with others. She is originally from Louisiana. She enjoys exploring the beautiful outdoors in Arkansas, spending time with family and friends. You can view her schedule here.
